Zengyou LIU

Dr. Liu Zengyou graduated from Xuzhou Medical University with a Bachelor’s degree in 1988. He received advanced training in obstetrics and gynecology at Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital, West China Second University Hospital of Sichuan University, and Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

With 38 years of clinical experience, Dr. Liu served as Director of Obstetrics at Shenzhen Nanshan District People’s Hospital from 2004 to 2025 and currently holds the position of Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His expertise includes perinatal care, prenatal screening and diagnosis, high-risk pregnancy management, difficult labor management, and critical maternal care, with technical proficiency leading in Guangdong Province. Under his leadership, his department became a national pilot unit for labor analgesia, a major residency training base, and a regional critical maternal care center, successfully establishing a National Maternal and Infant Friendly Hospital in 2019.

Dr. Liu has published over 40 academic papers and received awards for developing innovative obstetric techniques. He holds key positions in national and provincial medical associations, including Committee Member of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Branch of China Maternal and Child Health Association and Standing Committee Member of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Branch of Guangdong Medical Association. He has been honored as “Advanced Worker in Maternal and Child Health of Shenzhen” for his contributions to women’s healthcare.
