• Spinal pain: cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar postoperative pain syndrome, sciatica.
• Bone and joint pain: knee osteoarthritis, scapulohumeral periarthritis, tennis elbow and heel pain.
• Neuropathic pain: post-herpetic neuralgia and trigeminal neuralgia.
•  Cancer pain: severe chronic pain caused by various malignant tumors.
• Minimally invasive interventional techniques: percutaneous spinal endoscope (intervertebral foramen mirror) surgery for spinal pain, ultrasound-guided neuroradiofrequency for bone and joint pain, X-ray-guided neuroradiofrequency and spinal cord electrical stimulation for neuropathic pain, continuous drug therapy and intrathecal drug infusion system implantation for cancer pain.

Education Background

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
• Awarded Ph.D. in Orthopedic Surgery (2006) from Tongji Hospital

Working Experience

• Worked in Orthopedics at The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University and was promoted to associate professor in 2008
• Transferred to Pain Management Department of Shenzhen Nanshan Hospital and was promoted to Chief Physician (Orthopedic Surgery) in 2012
• Performed nearly 5000 cases of minimally invasive procedures, including spinal endoscopy, spinal cord stimulation, and intrathecal pump implantation

Academic Achievement

• Led multiple research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China and other foundation of Guangdong & Shenzhen
• Research interests include the application of artificial intelligence and imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative spinal diseases, and the brain evidence of degenerative myalgia and pathological pain
• Published 16 research papers (including 3 SCI articles) in leading orthopedic and pain medicine journals as the first author
