Biography
Dr. Wang Min earned his Master’s degree from Guangzhou Medical University in 2013 and his Doctorate from Jinan University in 2021. He possesses extensive experience in sports medicine and joint surgery from his work at renowned tertiary hospitals. In January 2025, as a member of the 25th “Doctor Service Group” organized by the Central Organization Department and the Communist Youth League Central Committee, he was seconded to provide support and served as the Deputy President for Medical Affairs at Ningxia Fifth People’s Hospital. During his tenure, he successfully led the application for Orthopedics to be designated as a National Clinical Key Specialty Construction Project unit.
Dr. Wang specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder, knee, ankle, and other joint disorders. His expertise includes shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery for conditions such as frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), subacromial impingement, rotator cuff injuries, and shoulder dislocation/instability. He is also proficient in managing knee disorders, including osteoarthritis, anterior and posterior cruciate ligament tears, meniscal injuries, cartilage damage, patellar dislocation, popliteal cysts, and synovitis. Additionally, he treats ankle conditions like ligament rupture/instability, cartilage damage, Achilles tendinitis, and ankle impingement syndrome, as well as other joint issues such as lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), elbow stiffness, and hip impingement syndrome. He performs over 400 surgical procedures annually.
Dr. Wang serves as a Medical Support Expert for Major Sports Events under the Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau. He also holds multiple academic appointments, including Deputy Director of the Science Popularization Branch of the Guangdong Rehabilitation Medical Association and Deputy Director of the Youth Committee of the Sports Medicine Society of the Guangdong Medical Association.
