Ms. Cun graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at Southwest University in 2015, with a master’s degree in developmental and educational psychology. Under the guidance of Professor Qiu Jiang, a famous scholar, she is heavily involved in research pertaining to cognitive neural mechanisms of creativity and affective disorders (anxiety, depression, etc.).

Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Ms. Cun worked in the psychology department of Shenzhen Children’s Hospital for seven years, and has amassed more than 6,000 hours of experience. Her extensive experience also includes adult psychological counseling work outside the hospital.

She specializes in psychological treatment for children, adolescents and adult, for anxiety, depression, coercion, fear, loss, trauma, intimate relationship counselling, domestic violence, parent-child conflict, kindergarten admission adaptation, study abroad psychological adaptation, interpersonal relations, learning difficulties, boredom suspension, oppositional defiance, attention deficit hyperactivity, tic, adolescent psychology, preparation for pregnancy, postpartum anxiety and depression, emotional management, stress management, self-esteem and confidence, sexual psychology, gender identity, somatic symptom-related disorders, autism spectrum disorders and more. Her direction of psychotherapy is based on psychodynamic orientation, and integrates mindfulness, narrative, focus, existential humanism, etc. She is also excellent at talk therapy and game therapy.

Ms. Cun has more than ten years of clinical practice experience. In addition to focusing on clinical practice of psychological assessment and treatment, she has also received continuous professional training from the Chinese and British Psychoanalytically-oriented Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Institute (3-year program), as well as sand play therapy, family therapy, interpersonal therapy (IPT), and others.

She has published several academic articles in famous journals such as Scientific Reports. She is an intermediate psychotherapist certified by the National Health Commission, and a national second-level psychological consultant.
