Yuzhang HUANG

Dr. Huang graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine of Guangzhou Medical University in 2006. In 2012, he obtained a master’s degree in public health from the School of Medicine of University of Hong Kong, and passed the DrPH Candidate exam of Bloomberg School of Public Health of Johns Hopkins University on December 11, 2020.

Dr. Huang has more than 15 years of clinical practice experience. Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Huang served as the deputy director of the Clinical Research Center, and a physician at the Otorhinolaryngologist Sleep Medical Center in Beijing United Family Hospital. His clinical expertise includes children’s sleep development assessment, adenoid solutions, tinnitus vertigo solutions, hearing impairment solutions for children and elderly, and artificial cochlear solutions for hearing loss.

In addition to focusing on clinical practice, Dr. Huang is also an expert in the project team (appointment date: Sept. 2020) of the National Center for Chronic and Noncommunicable Disease Control and Prevention (NCNCD) by the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC), for the “prevention and intervention of key diseases in old age.”

He is also a part-time associate professor of the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (appointment date: June 2022).

Dr. Huang is a Fellow of the Royal College of Public Health (FRSPH), a member of the International Institute of Electronic Engineering (IEEE) Medical Bioengineering Branch, and a member of the Health Policy Research and Hospital Management Committee of the Beijing Cancer Society.

Dr. Huang has published 31 SCI articles, including an editorial paper on Telehealth which was published in the WHO Bulletin in 2022. Dr. Huang also served as a guest reviewer of NEJM Catalyst journal.
