• 1988: Graduated from Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences (now the Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University).
• April 2000 – March 2001: Completed one year of specialist colorectal surgery training at the Coloproctology Center of Social Insurance Central General Hospital, Japan.
• June – December 2005: Studied at the Department of Colorectal Surgery, Nuremberg City Hospital, Germany.
• March – May 2016: Advanced fellowship at the Department of Colorectal Surgery, Cleveland Clinic, USA.
• Received surgical and specialized technical training at renowned colorectal surgery centers in Italy, Austria, and the UK.

Working Experience

• Dr. Wang worked within the surgical system of Shenzhen People’s Hospital for 38 years until his retirement. During this tenure, he founded the Department of Colorectal Surgery in 2006 and served as the Department Head for 20 years. He led his team with a mission centered on safety, minimally invasive techniques, and the preservation of anal function, providing standardized treatment following advanced international concepts while managing the responsibilities of a regional consultation center.
