Biography

Dr. Pang Rui-Ming graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Sun Yat-sen University’s Zhongshan School of Medicine and earned his master’s degree from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.

He possesses profound expertise in several advanced orthopedic areas, including: Joint Arthroplasty and Revision Surgery (Hip, Knee, Elbow, Shoulder),Complex Trauma Surgery (Pelvic Fractures, Multiple Complex Fractures),Anterior and Posterior Approach Spinal Surgery. He has particular proficiency in the integrated Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis and treatment of: Senile Osteoporosis,Vertebral Fragility Fractures,Hip Fractures and other limb fractures,Degenerative Osteoarthritis.To refine his skills, Dr. Pang has completed advanced training at several prestigious institutions across China, including Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, Hong Kong’s Queen Mary Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital, West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and the 301 Hospital.

With over 40 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, Dr. Pang has held significant leadership roles. He formerly served as the Director of the Orthopedics Department at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University (a Grade A Tertiary Hospital) and as the Chief of the Major Orthopedics Department and Disciplinary Leader at Shenzhen Bao’an District Hospital of Chinese Medicine (a Grade A Tertiary Hospital). He has extensive experience in clinical practice, teaching, and scientific research within the field of orthopedics and traumatology.

His academic accomplishments include presiding over one research project funded by the Guangdong Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and two projects funded by the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission. He has authored more than 20 published research papers and served as the chief editor for two medical books.
