Yang CAO

Dr. Cao Yang graduated from China Medical University. Previously, she served as the Director of the Psychology Department at Shenyang Mental Health Center, where she was responsible for clinical practice, scientific research, and teaching work for more than 30 years. She is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of various mental and psychological disorders, and has unique insights into the diagnosis and treatment of mental and psychological issues in children and adolescents. She frequently addresses crisis intervention matters and excels in psychological counseling and therapy, family therapy, group psychotherapy and training, parent-child relationship guidance, and group stress reduction training. Additionally, she acts as a supervisor at the psychological centers of multiple universities, including Beijing Normal University and Shenyang Jianzhu University.

• Expert Reviewer for Pediatric Psychotropic Drugs, Center for Drug Evaluation, National Medical Products Administration (NMPA-CDE). Participates in the review of pediatric psychiatric drugs.
• Expert for the Construction of Liaoning Provincial Social Psychological Service System. Engages in the planning and construction of the local social psychological service system.
• Expert Committee Member, Liaoning Provincial Health Emergency Expert Advisory Committee for Emergencies. Provides professional support for psychological emergency response in regional emergencies, and was the only expert seconded by Liaoning Provincial Health Commission to offer mental health services to medical staff aiding Hubei during the pandemic.
