Academic Achievement

Besides having vast experience in managing cancers, Dr. AU is also a scientist with research in bioinformatics, molecular cancer biology, translational research and cancer epidemiology. He is currently the President of the Hong Kong Precision Oncology Society and also the Hong Kong Lung Cancer Study Group. He has been the principal investigator of more than 30 clinical trials and has published more than 70 articles in peer reviewed journals. His Ph.D. thesis was on the gene expression profiling of non-small cell lung cancer.
