Biography

Dr. Huang Yuzhang is currently a Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), a Fellow of the Johns Hopkins University Cochlear Center (2025), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH), an adjunct expert in the National Project for Key Diseases in Elderly, at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CCDC), a doctoral and master’s supervisor in the Department of Infectious Diseases at City University of Hong Kong, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University.

Dr. Huang graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong (HKU Med) with Masters of Medicine and Public Health. In 2017, he began pursuing Masters of Health Science and Doctor of Public Health Degree at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in the United States, and granted Candidate in 2021.

Prior to joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Huang was a resident in the Department of Otolaryngology at Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH) in Shatin, Hong Kong in 2013, and an Research Associate in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). In 2020, he served as Deputy Director of the Good Clinical Research Center (GCP), an otolaryngologist, and a physician in the Sleep Medicine Center at Beijing United Family Hospital. His clinical expertise includes non-invasive endoscopic tympanic membrane repair surgery, laser middle ear surgery, tinnitus and vertigo solutions, hearing impairment solutions, laser sinus surgery, laser laryngeal surgery, cochlear implant surgery, pediatric sleep development assessment, and adenoids solutions.
