Biography

Dr. Tang Jiqiang graduated from Nantong Medical College, Jiangsu Province in 1998, majoring in clinical medicine, and received his master’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Tianjin Medical University in 2018. Dr. Tang specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various common orthopedic diseases, including neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain, various trauma treatment, adult and pediatric fractures, hand surgery, sports medicine, such as open reduction and internal fixation of fractures, pediatric fracture reduction and internal fixation, various tenosynovitis loosening, neurotendinovascular anastomosis of hand injuries, etc. Be able to independently complete a stage of combined anterior-posterior surgery for complex spinal fractures and dislocations; be skilled in conventional surgery for spinal degenerative diseases, tumors, tuberculosis and other bone diseases; anterior and posterior decompression fusion and intervertebral disc replacement surgery for cervical spondylosis; decompression and fusion surgery for thoracic and lumbar disc herniation and spinal stenosis; and excision of lumbar disc under foramina. Cervical thoracolumbar anterior and posterior vertebral subtotal resection, etc. Prior to joining United Family Healthcare, Dr. Tang served as the director of the Second Department of Spine in the Special Hospital of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force, where he performed about 500 surgeries per year.

In addition to focusing on clinical work, Director Tang has also published a number of academic papers, and Dr. Tang is the deputy leader of the spinal trauma group of the first Spinal Cord Professional Committee of Tianjin Rehabilitation Medical Association; Member of Rheumatic Diseases Committee of Tianjin Association of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, Orthopedic Surgeons Branch of Tianjin Medical Association, Traumatology Branch of Chinese Medical Association and other committees.
