Biography

Dr. Qu graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine of Peking University in 1987. She gained plenty of experience at Hong Kong Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Singapore University during a medical exchange program.

Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Qu was the director of the Intensive Care Child Treatment Center, Department of Neonatology and Department of Child Health at Guangzhou Huadu Hospital Affiliated to Guangdong Medical University (Guangzhou Huadu District Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital).

Dr. Qu has 35 years of extensive clinical practice experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal, respiratory and allergic diseases. She was mainly involved in the treatment of critically ill newborns, and has deep knowledge in the research and diagnosis and treatment of neonatal brain injury, neonatal infection, treatment and management of premature infants, neonatal intensive care, neonatal difficulty, and rare diseases.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Qu was also a theoretical lecturer and professor of undergraduate students at Guangdong Medical University. She was responsible for the training of clinical interns and physicians. Dr. Qu has presided over and participated in 10 national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects, and won a municipal science and technology award. Dr. Qu has published more than 40 papers in national academic journals, including four SCI papers, and served as an invited editorial board member of the Journal of Guangdong Medical University, participating in the translation and revision of the 20th edition of “Latest Diagnosis and Treatment in Pediatrics”.

Dr. Qu is also a member of several committees, such as the Guangzhou Women and Children’s Committee, Neonatal Infection Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Standing Committee of the Neonatal Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, Expert Database of Women and Children’s Health care in Guangzhou, and the Pediatric Quality Control Center of Guangdong Province. In 2016, she was awarded the title of “Famous Doctor of Huadu” from the Huadu District government. In 2022, she was awarded the title of “Good Doctor of Southern Guangdong”.
