Biography

Dr. Li graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Wuhan University in 2009. In 2012, Dr. Li received a master’s degree in Psychiatry and Mental Health (Children) from Peking University.

Before joining Shenzhen United Family Hospital, Dr. Li spent five years working in the Department of Psychiatry of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. In 2017, he began to work in the Department of Psychology of Shenzhen Children’s Hospital, where he carried out over 28,000 outpatient consultations.

Dr. Li is excellent at psychotherapy and drug treatment for adults, children and adolescents with mental and psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, obsession, fear, loss, trauma, emotional management, stress management, sexual psychology, gender identity, domestic violence, parent-child relationships, maternal psychology, adolescent psychology, intimacy, relationship violence, self-esteem, career, academic, relationships, eating disorders, sleep-related disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, somatic symptom-related disorders, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, tic disorder and more. His approach of psychotherapy consists of psychodynamic psychotherapy and systematic family therapy.

Dr. Li has more than 10 years of clinical practice experience. In addition to focusing on clinical practice in psychiatry, Dr. Li has also received continuous professional education, including training from a Chinese-German program specializing in family therapy for children and adolescents, a full-time training program for psychotherapy in Wuhan Chinese-German Psychological Hospital (six months), and the basic training program of the China American Psychoanalytic Alliance (CAPA). In addition, Dr. Li has published several academic articles in famous medical journals such as “Behavioral and Brain Functions” and “Chinese Mental Health Journal.”

Dr. Li is an intermediate psychotherapist and a member of the Psychosomatic Medicine Professional Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Health Management Committee.
