ZHAI, Mengyao

Dr. Zhai received her Medical Doctor (MD) degree from Peking Union Medical College. She completed her surgical residency at Beijing Anzhen Hospital, where she developed expertise in general surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.
Dr. Zhai has been practicing vascular surgery since 2011. She was principal investigator on several national and international clinical trials including endovascular repair for abdominal aortic aneurysm, novel oral anticoagulation treatment for acute deep venous thrombosis, and hemostasis technique for carotid endarterectomy.
Dr. Zhai is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, including varicose vein, deep venous thrombosis, carotid artery stenosis, subclavian steal syndrome, lower limb ischemia, renal artery stenosis, abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral aneurysm, and more. She is well versed in the management of breast diseases, including breast tumors, fibroadenoma, breast pain, nipple discharge, and mastitis.
Dr. Zhai is member of the Endovascology Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Vascular Surgery Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association.
